One time a short while ago I was making a supper for the Salvation Army and one girl who suffers with lactic acid intolerance asked me how much milk was in the pudding. When I told her there was about 3.5 gallons she turned to her husband and said "boy i sure can't eat that."
Sounds just like the big glob of butter. Just have a reasonable serving and all will be well. Do not eat the whole thing.

this recipe gave me diaharea, too much butter. I baked this without butter the second time and added mayo instead, it was delice when i dipped my tostitos in it. the diahrea was non existant the next day...problem solved.
i used granola with cranberries instead of oats, and sprinkled brown sugar and cinnamon over apples before hand and yummmm :)
its a great recipe,i used all the apples in my fridge about 20 or so,i used becel and a bit more oats,turned out delicious,maybe Kate should look under low fat apple crisp recipes instead.

i liked it was really a great really great recipe i doulbed up the repcie except the flour it was the most amanzing apple crisp every.you should duble up the repcie next time

i think we used remotely the same recipe at school for foods class we also used blueberries and my partner and i had extra blue berries so we made a sauce which you just add sugar and water and then boil it to reduce the water content and ours turned to liquidy so we added corn starch its a great thing to add to the top of your apple crisp this is a suggestion i suggest everyone tries

I Love this simple recipe! For 2 years i've been making this, got the first apple crisp of the season in the oven right now, smells so good! Our Gravenstein apples are superb for this. Thanks for sharing this easy to make, delicious dessert~
lol @ i couldnt see myself shoving that much fat down my throat, ummmm if ur considering eating this whole pan in one sitting then i dont think butter is ur only problem, put down the chip

I lost my recipe somewhere and I searched n found this very fast and it looks like the same ingredients from the recipe I had. Thanks so much it sounds great n i will try it tonight cuz I LOVE apple crisp with ice cream!!!
I am making this with my 4year old right now. I hope its good. She's so excited and the easy recipe was right up my ally.
I have this in the oven right now...one thing though is I wasn't sure of the pan size and I am afraid I used to small.Does anyone know the correct pan size? Thanks so much
